Dr. Ortiz is a graduate of California University Llano with a Doctorate in Ministries. He also holds a Master of Management and Bachelor’s of Science in Business administration from Eastern Nazarene College.

Dr. Ortiz is currently the Sr. Pastor of Iglesia de Dios Refugio Nuestro in Riverside California. He is a member of various non profits that concentrate in providing food, education, and hope to children in Central America.
